Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hate to think.This car does exactly what it says on the tin, it is neither exiting to drive, good to look at,fast or sexy, but, it does over 45mpg is capable of long journeys in comfort with all your luggage, and grows on you it does not excite me but I have done over 117k in it and had it for over 4 years it is the car I reach for when things need to be moved, long journeys done, or the weather is bad, I should replace it, but cannot think what I would replace it with.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My wife loves it with the exception that it is too big for town use, for a young family it would be great as it has intregral booster seats in the rear, my family is now too big for that. everyone else thinks its fine ( does what it says on the tin )and evokes loylty but no excitement.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would if my requirements were the same.
What are you likely to buy next?
I would like to go back to an xjr and give the volvo to my wife if she will have it.

Did you get a good deal and why?
got a very good deal it was the 165 bhp engine size run out model and was over 6 months old with just 200 miles on it.32k new
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had fallen out with landrovers and had to have a car to take the dog( he would not fit in my XJ8 so that had to go)and it was cheap

very good over phone, bought car over internet without seeimg it scary had 450 miles on it when it arrived beed driven up from london

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
unexiting but dependable, sports setting useful but not that sporty.
What's it like to park?
very square easy to see with exception of the front, parking sensors at the rear. Poor turning circle due to 4WD

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
squeaky drivers seat took ages to fix, split intercooler two OS front shock absorbers all replaced under warranty.only service items since then.
What's most practical about your car?
massive boot 4WD useless untill it snows then you wonder why everyone else is having trouble, its so unobtrusive. Once overtook a line of trafic up a 1 in 4 hill with a washer dryer in the boot!
