Get the belt changed - go to an indy specialist. 1.6 much cheaper than 2.0 (belts and tensioners more complex).

Nippy. Sharp handling. Noisy. Harsh ride.

Very reasonable considering engine size. Makes a lovely noise all the way to 7k rpm.

Touch wood! I've driven from north east to Devon for the last two years - the car laps it up. Sips oil a little. Get to know an enthusiastic indy dealer - you get to know a lot.
