I wouldn’t buy another because I’d never let this one go, it’s like my child. When it breaks, I don’t rest until it’s fixed, I maintain it’s mechanics meticulously, thus it has over 220,000 miles and gets driven hard every day and doesn’t let me down. I wouldn’t recommend one unless you get one of the more reliable engines, or you’re a mechanic yourself. The 2.4 is to die for when it’s running well, but it can be very expensive to make it so.
How reliable do you find the car?
No serious faults until it hit 200,000 miles when the cylinder head cracked. Fitted a 156 2.4 head and fixed it.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
