In their own words

We bought the car new to replace a BMW 3 series coupe, and to accommodate our baby. We chose the 3l 6 cylinder vs the 2l 4 as the price difference wasn’t huge, the power much better and it came with a few useful extras. The car handles well for a tallish heavy SUV, but it’s no M3. With 4WD the road behaviour is safe and predictable. It is very comfortable with an excellent driving position, and accommodates the three of us well-neither too small nor too big, and the power delivery very good, with plenty of torque. It has been almost completely reliable with only one small valve needing replacement which was only about £150. Servicing has been very reasonable too. So, although the car might be viewed by some as a little boring, it has been bomb proof and taken us long distances loaded up without every putting a foot wrong. I have only two complaints-the road and wind noise can be a little intrusive at motorway speeds and I didn’t have the money to go for xenon headlights...the standard halogen ones are pretty poor. (The tow bar is a mechanical marvel...well worth the price!)
