What does this car say about you?

Family man with a rare and interesting car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves it. Nobody is envious even though I could have bought an X3 or a used X5...where this picture would have been very different.

Would you buy this car again and why?

    Yes.

What are you likely to buy next?

Let's see... won't be in the very near future.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £30,000

When did you buy the car?

    February 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

Kind of a good deal but not specially. The car was just registered but fully loaded and got some extras like 4 winter tyres.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Family of four (two small kids)living in Hungary on a hillside where we have snow every year. 4x4 is not essential but highly desirable. Wanted something that is not from the X5/X3 Touareg, XC70/90 crowd.

    What was the dealer like?

    Quite good.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic.... for an SUV. You just would not beleive it is a tall 1.8 ton car. Leave it in 4wd (economy doesn't seem to suffer) and no understeer just eager turn in....not like a VW Golf and the like. Good brakes, limited body roll.

    What's it like to park?

Easy especially with the rearview camera.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

    No.

What's most practical about your car?

Lots of things. It is a 4x4, good driving position, split tailgate (no need to chase the kids when we need to put the coats on or change the shoes... as they can be put on the tail and they can't escape :) ) The extra row of "emergency seats are great for short trips..like picking up Granny...

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Rockford Fosgate stereo with a 10GB hardisk (2500 sings at your fingertips) no more fidling with CDs.
