• Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

It is just quirky enough to say I don't follow the herd but with far more comfort and practicality than a DS4.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

It creates a generally favourable impression and people want to know about the gearbox.

Would you buy this car again and why?

For me once is enough with any model.

What are you likely to buy next?

The Octavia estate is leading the field at the moment but it will depend on legislation changes and running costs. I have previously run a Jag X type and I like the XF but we would have to be pet free.

  • Driving it

    3 out of 5 3.0

    What's it like to drive?

In manual mode it is very easy to drive. Leave gear changes to the car and it becomes impossible to live with. This car is for people who want to get from A to B without hassle.

    What's it like to park?

Practical shape, reasonable visibility and rear parking sensors combine to make parking a doddle.

  • Living with it

It has weird quirks, but nothing specific has gone wrong.

What's most practical about your car?

It eats up motorway miles quietly economically and comfortably.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

As I get older I become more of a cruise control junkie.
