What does this car say about you?

It is sleek and attractive. It looks far better than any previous Citroen models. I feel the car indicates discerning choice.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like the car but when they hear about the problems they question my sanity in buying it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, I wouldn't. There are many problems mechanically, mostly due to electrical failures. Everything is controlled by electronic boxes and they are not up to the obvious build of this care.The suspension sometimes fails for no reason and the car has to be stopped and reset.

What are you likely to buy next?

A German car, Volkswagen most probably but never another Citroen or other French car. They are very comfortable but their reliability is questionable. I have owned eight Citroens in 26 years and the current C5 has been to most unreliable of them all.

What was the dealer like?

Large, professional Citroen dealership in West London.

What's it like to drive?

The car's ride is superb at all speeds, the fluid suspension on all automatic variants deals with all road surfaces and has 'sport' mode to stiffen up suspension if preferred.

What's it like to park?

Easy as it has rear parking sensors and front ones as an option.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, so much has gone wrong with it.

What's most practical about your car?

Comfort and space (Tourer).

Satellite navigation, full leather interior, panoramic glass roof.
