In their own words

A lovely looking car both inside and out, very economical in cutting out when stopping at traffic lights. It has very good space inside both the boot and the body of the car, a good one is reliable and it certainly feels safe. It is only let down by its slightly heavy feel which doesn't enthuse a sporty driver. The heated massage driver's seat is an excellent addition. I have always had it on auto so do not know what sports mode feels like as yet. I hate the satnav's female voice which sounds rather harsh to me after my Mercs smooth soft and sexy voice and wish DS would incorporate more choice than simply just 1 male or female option. Another problem is the rear doors do not open wide enough for peoples legs to swing round to get out especially with older people.

How reliable do you find the car?

Just after purchase my DS5 went down with an air system problem and had to have a new part called a doser which cost £521.90 paid back to me by the seller and Citroen did an initial diagnostics check which came back fine. Everything mechanical has since been excellent but since it came back to me after the part was fitted and the diagnostic check (£60) done I have not been able to select the POST CODE entry to the SATNAV which has been a pain. I have now booked it in for another diagnostic check costing a further £60 which they will give me free if they find it was the earlier work that caused this to be missing? I know it had a post code option on the satnav before it went in for the work but that might not be proved. Other than these minor things the car has been very good and very economical and looks superb inside and out with enough gadgets to delight most techies out there. I have however found it very heavy for my liking compared to the Mercedes E220 cabriolet I had before it but hopefully will get used to it and guess it is due to the weight of the batteries.
