My 97 yr old Gran says it's comfy and the leg room good.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Hmm maybe. FORD SORT OUT THE ELECTRICS AND GROUNDING ISSUES PLEASE!!!

Who knows? But it has to be frugal as heck.

Did you get a good deal and why?
The car had 8.5k miles on the clock, was in good condition and sensibly priced v new.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Economy, body styling. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS 09 MODEL/YEAR BUT PARKERS' SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SELECT THAT.
What was the dealer like?
Bought from Motorpoint, Peterborough. They were ok. Nothing to write home about. Very keen to try and sell me all kinds of extra insurances.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great. Willing, flexible, economical and quiet engine. Although its low slung body means it hates road humps (a real bind in big cities like London) and it GROUNDS quite easily. Ford don't admit this is a problem but it truly is.
What's it like to park?
A mixed blessing. The cars super compact exterior form means you can get into all but the tightest of spaces. However, the bonnet is so steeply raked, it's impossible to see where the car begins. A pain in the bum - price paid for cool styling.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The warning system is riddled with intermittent faults. So for example, you can be driving along normally and up will flash a warning !SERVICE NOW - ENGINE FAILURE! Of course, you just switch off for a min then it goes away and all is fine. Or !WARNING BOOT OPEN! or !PASSENGER DOOR OPEN! It has been driving me mad. Of course, it is amnan intermittent fault so Ford can never find a problem.
What's most practical about your car?
The engine of this car is really superb. A willing, flexible power plant. Bags of torque, it simply devours steep hills with gusto and is a real pleasure to drive.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air con, electric mirrors.
