Poor gearbox. Generally satisfactory, not as good as my previous car which was a Focus.

Starts and runs ok. But I am worried about long term due to poor build quality.

I have been told by the ford customer assist people that the dealer is responsible for faults in manufacture. The dealer has helped where they can, but my insistence on bringing someone from Ford to explain the build quality has met with refusal.

Drivers door glass shattered for no apparent reason, glovebox lid is a poor fit, has needed a new front seat cover due to the stitching coming apart, Plastic moulding on windscreen corner warped.
