  • Driving it

    3 out of 5 3.0

    What's it like to drive?

The 1.4 is economical but it is fairly slow; going up hills is hard, especially when loaded. Its loud at motorway speeds; the engine has to rev highly with lots of wind/road noise. The auto gearbox makes it jolty when shifting compared to most auto's. There is lots of body roll at the higher speeds in corners.

    What's it like to park?

Very Easy. But judging where the front end is, is difficult because of the long dash board, despite the high driving position. Unlike most auto box's, If you are on a slope, it doesn't stop you from rolling.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The remote key stopped working; had to get a new one. It had trouble starting up last winter.

What's most practical about your car?

It is roomy for this kind of car and has a very good amount of head/leg room in the front and back, and still manages to have a decent sized boot. Fuel economy is great and is easy to use around town.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air con. It wasn't equipped with much.
