• Summary

What does this car say about you?

Its says I am boxy and an old fogey. I make a habit of staring at other Fusion drives and 9 times out of 10 am dismayed to see they are older than me.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Parents like it (pensioners!!) and others think its practical. Like me.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but I would buy a bigger engined model. The 1.4 is fairly weak and would not pull the skin off a custard. That said I get nearly 60mpg which is fantastic. Economy wise she is great, excitement wise, meh, could be more stimulated.

What are you likely to buy next?

    Would like a bigger diesel.

    £7,000

When did you buy the car?

    November 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

Deal was okay. Got some money off and a warranty that was worth zippo. Read the small print afterwards (as you do) and realised nothing was covered except some small engine parts. Pah.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    In dire need of transport.

    What was the dealer like?

    Friendly, eager, pleasant.

    Straight forward.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Have had few upsets with engine components. Lost all turbo recently, that cost about £350. Had issue with fuel lines too and that was pricey, but touch wood these are rare faults. The car has been fine after that.....

What's most practical about your car?

    High driving position, decent stereo.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Do not like the book button on the dash, right pain in the rear. Would rather have button on the rear door. Like the big boot.
