What does this car say about you?

Unfortunately you are in need of a family bus, but you still enjoy cars and driving.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Looks smart, nice interior.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Unlikely but this is due to family needs rather than the car's capability.

What are you likely to buy next?

A wheelchair accessible vehicle as our son is getting too large to lift into the car. However, we will also look at something more fun to compliment the new family transport.

    March 2010

It was an ex-Ford car and had the top of the range X pack with 18" wheels, full length sunroof and colour sat nav system.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Disabled son, so needed a bigger car than my previous Alfa 159 estate.

    Very efficient.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

As many have said previously, despite its size , you can have some real fun driving it but it's also very relaxed on a longer journey, we've taken the family to the South of France on several occasions and even ventured up the Col de Turini!

    What's it like to park?

No problem, the front and rear parking sensors help though.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Difficulty starting, initially when winter started and temperature started dropping it would take a couple of times to start in the morning. This has become a more common fault and needs to be looked into, sometimes it takes 3 or 4 attempts to start. The sat nav unit has also had issues, it loses all memory, not a massive fault, but fairly annoying (you have to reset to heading up, miles rather than kms and it loses all destination memory when you switch off the ignition).

What's most practical about your car?

Size. We have to carry a lot of specialist equipment and it copes fantastically whilst still being nice to drive.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Full length sunroof makes a massive difference to interior.
