Hyundai Ioniq Electric (2021)

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I’ve been hugely impressed by the Ioniq Electric. It just gets on and does the job, without fuss, drama or complaint. Running costs are really low, and its efficiency is incredible. I would recommend the car to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, reliable and comfortable family hatchback with a range you can trust and reliability second to none. My next car, on which I’ll be spending my own money, will definitely be a Hyundai.

How reliable do you find the car?

The Ioniq Electric is, in my opinion, a very underrated car. It has been fault free from day one, is smooth, comfortable and relaxing to drive. It’s a lease car but I would happily spend my own money on one.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Build quality is good as are the interior materials. The technology on the car is particularly good, with excellent infotainment and very accurate battery range software. I have found I can trust the range that the car tells me, which is very reassuring and inspires confidence. It is also incredibly efficient - I’ve averaged 4.8 miles per kWh over 11,500 miles, which I think is excellent and makes the car incredibly cheap to run.
