In their own words

Very good alternative to the standard family hatchback if you can get some discount upfront...remember it is a DCT automatic so that must be factored into the cost along with the hybrid technology. It comes loaded with a lot of electronics and software too. Five years normal Hyundai warranty and eight years cover for the battery provide peace of mind when switching to new technology. Plenty of room in the front and plenty of boot space with rear seats down....found it better than the Golf, Leon, etc. Rear seats are fine unless occupants are 6 feet tall. Fit and finish are good with comfortable seats but it has a firm ride. Tyre noise does make its way into the cabin. Acceleration can be a bit lacking but Sports mode helps...definitely a car for careful drivers who value economy over speed. Hyundai service has been good in dealing with a couple of recalls for issues that did not directly affect my car. So overall it has been a satisfactory purchase and one I would recommend to everyone interested in a hybrid as a sensible step away from diesels until EVs become affordable.
