    What does this car say about you?

    I am prepared for winter. My car is also ideal for my other hobbies such as sea fishing and mountain cycling.

    What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Love it. Looks good in black .I know it will be a godsend in the winter living 1000 ft above sea level here in Consett.

    Would you buy this car again and why?

    Yes but HSE model with winter pack and quick clear front screen. Leather interior with Nav and armrest. ps if you have time look on you tube Landrover freelander 2 hill test you will see me and my son Tommy testing the car.

    What are you likely to buy next?

    I like the new Discovery 3.0 model auto but can I justify such a big car when the Freelander does the same job but with much cheaper road tax. I will probably look to upgrade to a Freelander HSE model automatic.

    Did you get a good deal and why?

    I traded in a old CRV diesel 06 reg for the Land Rover. The ride on the CRV was very hard and the Landrover was so much smoother.

    Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Yes good off road ability. Good looking motor.

    What was the dealer like?

    Top Dollar. Car serviced and 12 months mot. Already had roof bars fitted.

    What's it like to drive?

    Its like driving a limo. Smooth as silk. Cruises easily on cruise control. Economy good considering it is a 4x4. Good all round vision.

    What's it like to park?

    No problems it has rear sensors and seems very agile.

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    Love the high up driving position no real problems of note except rear n/s windscreen a bit sticky but not a real problem. And I have covered plenty of miles with holidaying at home this year in Cornwall and the lake district. Car never missed a beat.

    What's most practical about your car?

    Off road ability--superb on rough terrain and hill climb. Car yet to be tested in the snow but I have no worries. High up riding position. Car has Thule roof bars and carries mountain cycles with ease.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Terrain response. Brilliant when climbing muddy hills.
