Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Fantastic car, I owned a Freelander 1 from LR approved at 3 yrs old & had it for 13 yrs & loved it. Spotted Freelander 2 at local LR dealer, has a proper spare tyre too. It’s smart on the outside & luxurious on the inside, like a RR. Practical for driving on & off road, plus towing. A compact 4x4 to drive & easy to park. Will be at a loss to replace it as I love it like my old Freelander 1. I don’t like the Discovery Sport, having driven them as courtesy cars, far too big inside & too wide for parking bays. They don’t have the wrap around driving experience as the Freelander 2. Mum has an Evoque & the boot is too small for my German Shepherd Dog. Family own different models of LR & we love our Landies.

How reliable do you find the car?

Haldex unit failed & steering rack also replaced. All fixed under warranty. Seal on rear high brake light failed & replaced by other half with 1/3 thicker replacement seal, known design fault. As with any car it’s important to know what problems can arise. Extended the warranty on purchase from LR to cover 4yrs in total.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Fantastic to drive on & off road. Drive over fields, on farm tracks, country lanes, around town & motorway. As with any Land Rover they’re happy getting muddy & scrub up well to arrive somewhere posh!
