In their own words

Likes: Its exclusive and you don't see many on the road. Lexus/Toyota reliability is always a plus. Decent power, smoothest drive you will most likely get. Excellent build quality. Dislikes: Needs an updated and more user friendly infotainment system Boot hinges take up too much room The rear centre seat is not really useful if you have three adults in the back. Would struggle with 3 child car seats. Although there are minor gripes with the car, i do still love it. Bottom line is. If you want a luxury saloon that will last forever and give you no problems. Get this car, not the standard cheaply made German cars everyone drives.

How reliable do you find the car?

Slight issue with the rear tyre pressures. Says 36 PSI in the manual. Dunlop tyres went bald in the centre indicating over inflation after only 1 year and 10,000 miles!

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Bought with 25,000 on clock in Feb 2017. Now got 60,000 and car hasn't missed a beat. I love my car. However, it is let down slightly by the over complicated sat-nav and infotainment system, which also looks dated. The boot hinges take up a bit too much room, but i still manage to go on breaks with a family of 4 without too much trouble. It is the most reliable car i have ever owned. I would most likely own a BMW if this wasn't the case. One of the main reasons i go for Lexus/Toyota is that, unlike BMW, Audi, Merc etc Lexus use the hybrid system to aid with power and economy. It also eases strain on the engine so it doesn't have work so hard, in turn making it more reliable and a lot longer lasting. The other makes have gone for small supercharged or twin turbo engines which although are fast and frugal, will not last more than 5 years before issues start to arise. This is due to the extra strain they're putting on these small engines.
