What does this car say about you?

Not a lot! I am a young bloke but I have seen a fair number of middle aged women driving them :(.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    It's a fiesta alternative?

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, perhaps in 5dr version, or even a Mazda 3.

What are you likely to buy next?

A 5dr Mazda, not sure which model. Or perhaps a Toyota.

    July 2009

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, scrappage scheme saved me money, though it made it impossible to haggle about the overall price.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a small car on the UK scrappage scheme.

    What was the dealer like?

Quite pushy, tried to sell me a 5dr diesel which I didn't want or need.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Quite fun, got some poke at 70mph. Tuned for quite high revs, but is quite versatile for economic or sporty driving. Second gear can be quite jerky to find, as is reverse (needs a good amount of throttle).

    What's it like to park?

Easy enough, you can get extras to help if you want.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Rear shocks have been replaced twice (!) in 30k, brakes make a lot of noise (as reported by others).

What's most practical about your car?

Folding rear seats work well, fair amount of boot space, able to fit an Alaskan Malamute in there (without seats).

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Folding mirrors, aux port on stereo.
