What does this car say about you?
D'oh should have bought a Boxter.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I had the p*** taken out of me regularly by colleagues at work.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, just not exciting enough. Nice in summer with the hood down but otherwise no. I just had to try it.
What are you likely to buy next?
I've got it 10 months with the Mazda was enough, VW Scirocco diesel and that is another story, excellent.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Could have got one cheaper from a non franchise dealer but got the warranty and it looked good in blue.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I thought it would be nice to try a 2 seater convertible.
What was the dealer like?
Oakmere Mazda, Northwich. I am not best of friends with the dealer as I have had issues previously with them with a Mazda 6 I purchased from them many years ago.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It gripped the road well but I don't think any better than my Scirocco does now. Pulled well in any gears but lacked that straight line acceleration. I was being taken by smaller engine cars. 160bhp. from a 2 litre. come on Mazda you could squeeze another 40bhp easily. Overall I was disappointed.
What's it like to park?
It's like a large toy you can throw it in anywhere.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
3 years old, it let water in through the roof near drivers door, drivers seat belt would not return fully when taken off. The plastic sill cover was loose and the wheel arch trim was also not fixed properly. They sorted everything eventually but to fix the wheel arch covers they used big ugly screws. I just looked at it and gave up, I thought what is the point.
What's most practical about your car?
It's not it's a 2 seater sportster.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
There are no gadgets, very basic.
