In their own words

A absolute joy to drive, despite the ride not being great (GT Sport Nav+ has stiffer suspension). It is compact (inside & out) so practicality is obviously limited, even so two of us have been away for a few days (soft bags work better than small suitcases) and I've got an inflatable SUP in the boot. On the plus side, the compact size is perfect for British country roads. It is fast enough to be fun, especially on our increasingly speed monitored roads, without you needing to do anything approaching illegal to enjoy it. Meanwhile the handling is great. The GT Sport Nav+ version has plenty of useful kit (key-less entry, adaptive headlights - which are excellent by the way - climate control, blind-spot monitoring and so forth) whilst the simplicity of the manual hood make it a joy to use (and quicker than electric versions). Economy & servicing costs are pretty good, as is insurance so if you enjoy open-top motoring in a traditional layout sports car & can live with the impracticality then the MX-5 is really the only sensible choice! Get one, you won't regret it!
