Mercedes-Benz GLA 250e review (2023)

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Just in the process of buying this outright (PCP at the moment). Mercedes App says:
20,126 miles, 14,138 electric only, fuel 314mpg (UK), electric 5.4mpkWh. I regularly get over 40miles on electric only (charger in the garage). On a 200+ mile trip, the battery provided over 80miles. I did manage to get it down to the low 50MPG but that was starting with zero battery and breaking the speed limit down the M1 from the Dales to East Sussex.
I drove a Honda CRV over a badly surfaced road, back2back with the GLA. The Honda’s deeper profile tyres made a noticeable difference (the only real issue I have with the GLA) but the existing Generation has a SatNav of the same standard as my ‘04 X-trail and reading the reviews of the next generation (due at the end of the year), the AWD (the only thing missing from the GLA) isn’t available with the PHEV version. Hence not waiting and buying the GLA outright now.
Please don’t suggest the Volvo XC40, sticking a piece of laminate wood from B&Q on the dashboard was enough for me to walk away without even starting the car and I use my indicators, so that rules BMW out.
The GLA replaced a Leaf (mk2) and an E-Pace (250 HSE). For me, the GLA is better than either of them.
