In their own words

Car has plenty of toys and gadgets but driving experience lets it down. The CVT gearbox is awful to live with. Seemed OK on test drive but not good day by day. Engine revs like mad which obviously destroys economy. I struggle to get 37mpg on mixed driving medium journeys and around town. Even driving carefully on long journeys the max is 40mpg. Nissan official figures are very misleading on this front. Otherwise the car is comfortable on most roads and does most things quite well. Let down slightly by smallish boot if you intend to carry a lot of stuff. Seats do fold flat giving a reasonable loadspace. Clever boot floor with storage underneath or various options to configure the boot is useful. One serious downside is the standard headlights. They are awful. Worst headlights I have ever had on a modern car. I changed all 4 bulbs to (expensive) premium brand bulbs and this has helped a bit, but you shouldn't have to do this on a car of this calibre. Would I buy another? No. Whilst it does most things quite well, it's not entertaining or involving to drive. It is the ultimate in bland.
