Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I really do love this car, does everything I need & very happy to own a Qashqai. Has a smart classy look. No engine, gearbox issues, comfortable, easy to drive and roomy. Would like 1st gear to be taller as as soon as moving 2nd gear is required. Looking at Qashqai owners club batteries appear to be a problem, I can see that as I have felt the need to complete top-up charges and now add a trickle charger. Without it after a few weeks starting is slower/ laboured. I had forgotten how poor the lights are on the n-connector so would recommend the next one up the range for LED lighting. The infotainment system is slow to react at times but works well enough. Paint chips easy and in 15 months the wheels are starting to show light signs of corrosion. Have a serious concerns are over the fact that Nissan tried to fob me off with the Emergancy braking fault. I had the same model a few years previously to purchasing this car so Nissan telling me it works like that and it will happen two or three times a week if I drive along the same roads! The car would e-brake when passing joggers, cyclists and when no other vehicles were in site, driving alone at slow and higher speeds on empty roads. The change of sensor has stopped the brakes randomly being activated, so my persistence was justified. The 4 year warranty should give peace of mind not cause weeks of communication/ argument when it should have been sorted with no hassle. Therefore not happy with that customer service so would think twice on buying another.

How reliable do you find the car?

The automatic Braking system would randomly activate for no reason. It took many weeks, emails and phone calls with Nissan to get the sensor changed. Now works as it should. Initially Nissan said system will active 2 or 3 times a week and they were not replacing any sensors in 2020 as there was no problem. Load of rubbish, proven as the change of sensor has fixed the problem.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Smooth, comfy, roomy and engine punchy enough.
