Porsche 911 Coupe (2012 - 2019) Carrera 4 GTS PDK auto 2d Owner Review

This was a 60th birthday present to me so since I like cars it was a matter of hang the expense let’s get something to really enjoy. I had a ‘97 993S in the past (should have kept that car and would have been ££ in). So sort of a 911 ‘tragic’ really....you either love ‘em or don’t. I have always thought that the wide body and flared rear arches give the car such a purposeful stance. It screams to be driven quickly around sweeping bends. In my view it is simply gorgeous and every bit of switchgear has that purposeful solid feel. The performance and handling would exceed all but a top professionals expectation as it sticks to the road and accelerates so rapidly. In short a brilliant road car in so many respects. I have driven about a thousand miles so far and have rarely stopped smiling. It is due a minor service in April ‘21 and its first MOT so hopefully nothing major since it passed a Porsche inspection before picking up in September ‘20. Yes it won’t be cheap on Tax or tyres however for the number of miles it will do fuel cost not really significant. A great car!
