It was almost impossible to find a used TDI SE at the time so I bought new, it was a bit pricey, but made up for this on fuel economy

Driving
Very easy to drive, the power steering does not over-compensate so you always feel like you're in control
Performance
Very economical, average 51mpg motorway driving and around 47mpg combined, that's with the aircon on 'auto', too.
