VW/Audi for this price - amazing. Equivalent Golf is nearly £3000 more for the same age/miles. Even the Bora is £800 more expensive.

I use independants so not too bad.

Bit soft but not too bad.
Performance
Get it chipped up to 170bhp.

Reliability
Had a problem with the AC, make sure it works. Front part of compressor can come off, costs £300+ to repair.

I give it 5 because it doesn't shout about what it is, it just gets on with it.
Comfort
Centre arm rest bugged me so I removed it. Otherwise fine.

Std fit immobiliser plus the innocuous looks help.

Not really used them much, found the main dealer at Preston poor, the one in Lancaster better. Go independant!
