Let down by the dealer network and VW overall by their devious doings. A brilliantly versatile car that they decided to drop in favour of that useless barge the Kodiak. Despite the problems from the emissions scandal I would probably have bought the promised Roomster replacement but after they dropped it I dropped them and went to Ford. Too many people are having problems post he emissions fix and I am not prepared to risk it. Also I have had to have a VERY expensive EGR valve replacement at only 40k and my fuel consumption has increased by about 5 mpg and the much vaunted 1.6 tdi was not much cop to start with. The old 1.9 although gruff beat it hands down. Feel badly let down by the VW group and it will take a lot to consider one again.
How reliable do you find the car?
The EGR valve has been problematical since new but Skoda would not change it and when it failed out of warranty it cost a fortuneDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Very Versatile and nice to drive but the 1.6 tdi diesel is a disappointment. nothing like as efficient as they claim. The old 1.9 tdi did betterAbout their car
