    I have an idea of what the word 'lifestyle' means. However, the car does not say this about itself.

    Friends- Think I should buy something quicker. Family - Love it. Neighbours - I don’t talk to them.

    Would you buy this car again and why?

    No I wouldn’t. Bad depreciation. No real 'go' in the car.

    What are you likely to buy next?

    Seat Leon FR TFSI. In fact, I have and I pick it up soon.

    Did you get a good deal and why?

    Looking back on the negotiations, no I did not receive a good deal. Why? Because they wanted the money and I was stupidly willing to give them it.

    Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    I wanted a car that had off-road potential.

    What was the dealer like?

    Friendly until the 'big boys' got involved once I asked too many questions.

    What's it like to drive?

    Sluggish, if you drive up hills then you will find yourself changing down gear. Not a smooth ride and anything over 65mph seems like you could be hurting the engine. I do however feel that this may be down to the 4 wheel drive system or transmission being quite noisy.

    What's it like to park?

    Its ok to park as it is the short wheel base model. No parking sensors or any clever gadgets to help in this area. It is also wider than a normal car so parking in a garage may prove difficult. If you find getting out of cars difficult in tight spots then this is not the car for you.

  • Living with it

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    Two things in 9 months, the ventilation fan packed in when it got too cold. -3 degrees C. Secondly, a break light was popping every time it was replaced, this was however, picked up on the first 1000 mile service.

    What's most practical about your car?

    Permanent 4 wheel drive.

    Permanent 4 wheel drive.
