In their own words

Being an owner of previous EVs I knew what to expect and buying it early means I took advantage of the FSD package which is now quite expensive. Car drive nice and as the SR+ model is nippy enough for most. Handling on corners is not as good as most european cars, acceleration, like most EVs is good. It's not as heavy as I first thought it would be and is sometimes lighter than the petrol or diesel similar cars. Only thing I dislike is the indicator operation, but it's similar on many cars now in that it does not stay where you put it and forces you to use roundabouts incorrectly. People have moaned about quality, mine was US made, and is very well made and I'm an Automotive mechanical design engineer. The uncluttered look is nice, too many cars in my opinion have way too many buttons. Range is relative, it depends what you do, if you travel up and down the motorways every day without stopping then look elsewhere, personally if I go further than 100miles I want to stop for a coffee and it can charge up to 1000mph, if you are lucky. But normally a 15min coffee break does the job and also you have a big screen to watch netflix or play game on if you want. With regards to efficiency, when driving this car is more efficient than my Smart electric car I had for 4.5years, however, when parked it consumes power. You have the option of all the cameras running which will use about 1mile range per hour, but even with those off and parked at home unplugged it consume enormous amounts of power. The smart car could be left in an airport car park for 3 days and the charge would be exactly what I left it at, with the Tesla, I would be very worried if it only had 100mile range left and I went away for 3 days. But not an issue for me really.
