Must fit a CAT1 immobiliser. Needed for most classic insurance, anyway.

Engine
Keep the servicing up. Use proper Toyota coolant and not anti-freeze to stop head gasket going.
Other
Go find a good one with full Toyota service history and have some real fun for under £2500.
