Value
Sellers seriously overvalue their cars. Extended warranty very expensive from Toyota dealers.
Costs
Mine depreciated nearly 40% in only 18 months, which is excessive for a car this age. Servicing, parts etc seem reasonable so far. Cambelt change is expensive.

Most fun I've had from a road car in ages.
Performance
Quick enough to be fun, but can't keep up with modern hot hatches in a straight line.

Better-looking than the current model. Rear spoiler on the later revisions is too ostentatious.
Comfort
Excellent driving position, but not enough headroom for tall drivers, especially with that firm ride. Hit my head on the roof going over any significant bumps, and that T-bar roof is hard.
