What does this car say about you?

I don't care. I has a modern design, 5 doors with a flat load area when the rear seats are folded. It's cheap in insure; £35 VED. I was getting 50 mpg in the warm weather which has dropped to 45mpg in the cold January of 2009.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife thinks it's small and cute, but she prefers to drive the S Type. Neighbours and colleagues were fasinated because they have never seen one before.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, it does everything I wanted and the small 1,000cc engine has exceeded my expectations.

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car came with a huge discount (£1,400) and a good credit deal of pay half on delivery and half in 12 months. They also gave me 12 months VED - only £35 but still helpful.

For an economical run-about

What was the dealer like?

Excellent. Much more helpful than the Fiat, Peugeot, Citreon, and Hyundi dealers I visited. AND I cannot think of anything polite to say about Smart Car dealers.

What's it like to drive?

I rate it good for a small car. The ride is slightly bouncy, but it corners well at urban speeds - better than my other car which is an S Type Jaguar

What's it like to park?

Wonderful. Good all round vision and the upright back window make it simple.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No

What's most practical about your car?

Amazing interior space for a small car and ease of entry because it's slightly higher than others in the same class.
