In their own words

Engine management light came on with the traction assist warning symbol, causing limp mode. 5 minutes after turning engine off it would reset itself and drive ok (sometimes with the engine management light on) Took to dealer, all ok. Slowly got worse and they put it down to the accelerator, new one fitted. Problem 2 iPod has a mind of its own, will quite often select random play, not play at all or you have to skip to next track before the previous one ends to hear the whole album. (Nothing wrong with the iPod though, as it plays ok elsewhere) Problem 3 During acceleration the ‘reduce performance, reduce clutch wear’ flashes up and you temporarily lose power. Been in a few times for this and came out ok. Now they reckon it’s the gear box and may cost me £800+ to strip it and have a look at it if it’s not covered in the warranty.
