Bought 2nd hand for next to nothing. Awful lot of car for peanuts.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

235/45 tyres don't last much past 15k. 26.8mpg average over last 6,000m. Cambelt every 40,000m is £400 including tensioners. Most genuiune parts reasonable but dealer prices do vary greatly, so shop around. Generally cheaper to run that other exec saloons.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Comfortable and quick, and despite it's weight and size, surprisingly agile.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Wow! Shame I can't use to anywhere nears it's potential in UK.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Only car I've had that has never broken down on me. Drivers door lock is a pain in damp weather. Had a new battery and exhaust, only to be expected at this age.

Most people are indifferent about it, until they get in it, then they love it.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Lots of room for passangers, and the boot is massive. It's had 4 lots of golf stuff in. Adult in middle of back seat has to put up with the large drive shaft tunnel though.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Unsure how secure it is. Nobody has ever tried to get in, so I haven't had any hassles on this front.

    Service
