Value
This is an expensive car - over £20K - and despite the high specification level, it is not 5* value for money.
Costs
If you want a car that AVERAGES more than 20mpg, then forget the V6.

Driving
The 4 wheel drive works very well - lots of fun.
Performance
I think 3* underestimates the way this car goes. The engine is just great - a big improvement from the MkIII VR6.

Excellent - as always (this is my 7th VW).
Comfort
Lots of toys and great seats, but I hate the choppy ride.

No one has broken into this Golf (unlike every one of the 3 others I owned - 2 MkIIs and a MkIII).
