In their own words

Car is great to drive and has very good MPG figures,,im getting 47 on average, the DSG gearbox is smooth and positive, it does stumble a little when you accelerate then slow down, it has to think for a second but its no biggie, fast seamless gearchanges under acceleration. Parking is easy as have front and rear sensors as standard and there is plenty of visibility all round. The 150 engine has more than enough grunt and is suprisingly quick when accelerating onto the motorway or overtaking, i couldnt warrent spending more on the 190tdi or 240bi-tdi, adds on a chunk of money. Ride quality is...firm. Its not bad but it can be a bit harsh and unsettled on country roads, if i were to buy again i would opt for the adaptive dampers, if they are anything like my brothers Q5, they really smooth out all the imperfections. Same company in all fairness so i imagine the parts are very similar. Steering is very easy, light when going slow and stiffens up when you speed up, corners very well for an SUV. The 2wd is ok in the wet, however it does have a tendancy to rip up the front wheels when pulling out a junction or having to hastily get across a busy roundabout, traction control kicks in and kills all the power...not ideal, i would go with the 4wd version if i were to get another. Not much difference MPG wise. The diesel noise is quite loud under heavy acceleration and moderate under normal acceleration but soon quiets down when you are cruising. Cabin noise is acceptable, it could be a bit quieter but its what you would expect at this pricepoint. Material quality is good, seats are comfy, soft plastics ontop if dash, bit cheap the lower down you go but you can forgive it due to the amount of kit you get as standard, digital driving dials are ace, (and you can put the satnav on them) 3 zone climate control, heated front seats with massage function for driver, panoramic sunroof that opens, adaptive cruise and lane guidence and adaptive LED headlights which are fantastic. Plenty of boot space, we have a disabled child who has a wheelchair and it fits in the boot no issues with plenty of room to spare. Glove box is a good size and door bins are big too. The ambient lighing is very nice at night, 2 strips down either side of the sunroof looks so cool, accents in the door trim and light in the footwells, however the cubby hole infront of the gear selector has no lighting, can be a bit of a faff trying to plug in a usb cable in the dark. The standard sound system is very good, the best i have had in any car yet. Very happy with it and will be sad when the lease is up, unless i get another. Would certainly recommend. My trim and options choice if i were to get another after this lease would be: SEL 2.0TDI 150 DSG 4 Motion+ Adaptive Dampers. All the kit you would need.
