Very reliable with no major faults whatsoever. The interior is plasticky and does look cheap but does the job. Fuel consumption is surprisingly good especially on motor way but it is noisy at speed. Very roomy inside and comfortable. If buying one of this age check carefully for rust and then keep on top of it. Only used the permanent 4x4 once in anger but it did well and exceeded my expectations. Has held its value, got offered not much less than I paid for it by a private buyer after ten months but I’m keeping it. You won’t find another 5 door roomy 4x4 that hasn’t been thrashed at this price point, 5k will get you a good one, go for the top of the range diesel and look for low miles and service history.
