In their own words

Purchased this car for £2,600.00 in December 2016 (62k miles) because my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4 GSi Petrol was using too much fuel (only 27mpg) on my 60+ mile daily commute. The i20 gives me 51mpg, so the car will effectively pay for itself in around 2 years. The 1248cc engine is smooth and responsive, the car handles very well and reminds me of my 1999 Mark III VW Golf GTI 1.8T. Excellent build quality, except for some interior plastics, especially the glove compartment. Worst feature is noise from the tyres on some road surfaces, I will replace the tyres with Michelins in due course to see if that helps. Road tax on my car is £110 per year - later models were tweaked to reduce the emmissons so only £30 per year would be payable. This is my third Hyundai. Overall a fantastic car to drive. especially for the money.

How reliable do you find the car?

Driver's sun visor stays up out of the way, but does not fold down then stay against the windscreen. I have ordered a new one for £63.00.
