Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not bothered about the badge. Keep my cars for a long time and like the security of a long warranty (all Hyundai's come with a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
You've bought a Hyundai??? Are you crazy??? However, only one trip in it is necessary to win them over to realise that is a very accomplished car for the money.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely, has been much more reliable than my previous car. Warranty provides security than few other manufacturers can match.
What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly the Hyundai i40 estate, which will be coming out shortly. Very well specced and good value for money, as are all Hyundais.

Reasonable deal. Obtained £3500 off the list price + extras when I scrapped a vehicle under the government scheme.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Best scrappage deal available.
What was the dealer like?
Helpful. Gave me half-price Supaguard paint protection and interior protection on the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very smooth. 6 speed manual gearbox provides positive changes, and ratios are well spaced. 50 mpg easily obtainable on faster roads. 40 mpg average with mostly urban usage.
What's it like to park?
Easy. Rear visibility is good, and I had parking sensors fitted by the dealer.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Steering issue which was resolved under warranty. Apart from that, absolutely trouble free in 15000 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Excellent passenger space in both the front and rear. Good sized boot with easy access.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Standard Electronic Stability Programme. Is absolutely fantastic, particularly when the roads get wet or icy. Part-leather seats are supportive and exceptionally comfortable.
