I want a car that will not break down and leave me stranded

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

All love it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably not - BMW now have a 330d that goes faster, drinks a lot less fuel

What are you likely to buy next?

Undecided: If BMW have a reliable car with a good owerful diesel, and/or if the new C Class turns out to be trouble free, then I would look at these. Will also seek audii deals and the VW Passat cc

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not really - paid the asking and the car was supplied with a half tank of fuel

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Past reliabillity of older versions of Lexis IS200

What was the dealer like?

Pleasant and professional, but hard-line on costs

What's it like to drive?

Sports suspension too firm on UK roads, and though 18" wheels fittet, the car could not deal with snow. Otherwise, nice to drive, though I would prefer an auto for town driving as gears need to be worked.

What's it like to park?

Piece of cake - when I hit reverse, the car DVD sceen will light up with a picture of what is behind, and this is coupled with sensors that beep and highlight on the screen which bit of the car is too close to an obstruction

Have you had any problems with the car?

No faults - DVD player does not play DVDs whilst car is stopped, but this does not bother me

What's most practical about your car?

Rear parting sensor with monitor, good V6 engine

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

14 Speaker Mark Levinson sound system is terrific, bluetooth worked seamlessly from start, opening/closing door without key a great gadget
