How reliable do you find the car?

This is a reliable car if it has been looked after. Service interval is recommended at every 5,500 miles or once every year. Rust is a big problem and also water leaks mainly in the boot area easy fix but still not ideal especially with labour costs if you are not mechanically knowledgeable. A fault with the turbo oil seals are common also.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Absolutely exceeded my expectations feels nice and comfy to drive on long journeys. I've averaged 28mpg since ownership so it is quite good on fuel £65 empty to full range of 425miles approximately. I still use this car on a daily basis doing 16000 miles a year I would say it is not too dear too run if you are gentle but soon as you put your foot down expect it to drink fuel. Tax costs per year £580 now and absolutely worth every penny completely different to any other hatch definitely one of a kind. I would extremely recommend this vehicle you will be hooked. 98 octane minimum/V power
