In their own words

This is an excellent move into EV motoring, the MG5 doesn’t look great but it does nearly everything asked of it.
The only niggle I have is that the software system occasionally reboots and I wish the longer range model was available when I bought this.
Over the last year it’s done 24000 miles and saved me thousands vs a diesel VW CC. At the first service it had nearly no break wear and the tyres are going strong with 4mm on the fronts and 7mm on the rears.
It’s done well at commuting, long distance family road trips, dump runs etc. a really great practical family estate and it’s not an SUV.

Range anxiety is just not a thing anymore, there’s some charging anxiety as EVs get more popular and chargers are less available on popular travel days but I’ve never had to wait long for a charger.

As for driving experience it’s a very comfortable cruiser with plenty of pulling power up to the legal limit. You can hurry the car along if you must but in most cases it will get you where you need effortlessly.

I’m looking forward to years of MG motoring!
