What does this car say about you?

I had intended that this car would last my wife and I for a long time as we go into retirement, however I dislike the notchy gear change and this will make me change cars at three years.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife had several scares early on with the problem gear changes. She totally dislikes the car and avoids driving it unless absolutely necessary.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definately not

What are you likely to buy next?

A diesel automatic with the VW group DSG gear box favourite.

What was the dealer like?

Fine to deal with.

What's it like to drive?

Cruises very well on the open road with good pulling power even in 5th gear. Not so happy with town driving, continually changing down.

What's it like to park?

Obscured rounded rear end makes parking difficult. Had to fit reverse sensors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Continual problems with lower gear changes resulted in firstly 1st and 2nd gears being replaced, then a new gear box all under warranty in the first year.

What's most practical about your car?

Comfort for four adults and a reasonable boot space
