Value
Excellent on the model I bought, 3 months old with £3k off the list price. Spec includes multi change CD, air con, alloys, trip computer, traction control.
Costs
Insurance reasonable, probably due to thatcham alarm and immobiliser which is fitted as standard. Getting around 35 mpg at the moment I think.

Driving
Sticks to the road really well, plenty of feedback through the steering wheel.
Performance
Enough to keep up with traffic but needs to be revved to move anywhere fast.

Too soon to say, but no problems so far.

Changing thanks to the zoom zoom adverts. People seem to like it though and are surprised by the quality of the interior. Not many of them around yet, and a little different to the Golf/Astra/Focus.
Comfort
Comfortable driving position and seats supportive. Bit of wind noise at speed and the suspension makes some noise.
