In their own words

This is the 4th Mazda 3 we have had in about 15 years and its certainly stands out as the best in terms of refinement, efficiency and fuel consumption (close to 60mpg on certain cummutes), comfort, driveability really happy and always look forwrad to getting to drive it (Lockdowns permitting) Has the X engine which has a little bit more power over the G engine plus its a lot more frugal. Previous G engine model 3 I had was averaging 41/42mpg, this one is closer to 50 average and higher if you drive with a light touch Improved infotainment over previous model Fit and feel along side position of gearshift, steerwheel etc great also improved over previous model giving it a sporty feel Good value - a lot of spec for no extra price compared to say european alternatives Minus points View out of the rear is adequate but the camera and door mirrors (that tilt to allow you to see the curb) off set this Under light load you can just feel the mild hybrid system coming on/off however STOP /START is very good Very small point - With the cold weather the front screen can take a while to clear and takes a while for the cabin to heat up however thats offset with heated seats and steering wheel
